Chinese smartphone manufacturer company Coolpad just announced its Mega 3 smartphone having triple sim functionality. It will be very interesting to see the the first smartphone in India with three sim cards support with VOLTE to work with JIO.
Infact coolpad announced its two smartphones named Mega 3 and Note 3S priced at Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 9,999, and will be available on Amazon.in from 7th Dec 2016 onwards. Note 3S sports a fingerprint sensor on the back whereas in Mega 3 it is not available.
Mega 3 coupled with 2GB of ram with 5.5 inch HD (720×1080) display having 269 ppi. A 1.25GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor fitted in motherboard with 16GB of internal memory plus a hybrid sim card tray where a SD card can be placed up to 64GB.
Now let’s talk about connectivity options, Mega 3 comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 4G VoLTE, and triple-SIM slots. Weight of Mega 3 is about 170.5 grams, It comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and packs a 3050mAh battery. Company claims the battery can lasts up to 200 hours in standby mode. 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and f/2.2 aperture as well as 8 MP front camera for selfies lovers are present.
If we talk about The Coolpad Note 3S, It is having a similar 5.5 inch HD HD (720×1080) display and powered by 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 MSM8929 octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM. It offers 32GB of internal storage with the option to expand further via a microSD slot (up to 32GB). Both these phones are supporting OTG.
Note 3S also comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow based of Cool UI 8.0. While camera department is not same as Mega 3. Note 3S sports 13 MP rear camera with autofocus and f/2.2 aperture while front camera is of 5-megapixel selfie camera with fixed focus and f/2.2 aperture. Battery is not same as in Mega 3, Note 3S is having only 2500 mAh bettery to handle smart phone’s tasks. VOLTE is also available in Note 3S.
